These youngsters are being offered at well below their true value to meet the current market. They are quality young warmbloods out of top quality mares. Petronella Park is 81 picturesque acres of improved pasture situated 38klms north west of Gympie in south-east Queensland. Our focus is on breeding a small number of quality youngsters with trainablilty, movement, good temperament and handsome looks - to be offered at realistic prices to the more serious horse enthusiast. The sires used in our breeding program are Herr Dom Perignon (by Herr Dominator - Domherr/Flanuer bloodlines) and Centaur Gladiator (by Genghis Khan - Grannus II). Our broodmares have been chosen for their wonderful temperaments, blue chip bloodlines, sound conformation and expressive movement - which has proven a very successful combination in producing incredibly quiet, trainable youngsters. Our young horses are paddock reared with others of similar age, with an older "mentor" horse as a stabilising inflluence . In doing so - they are allowed to be "just horses" for their development years - growing up to be well socialised and well adjusted young adults. All are handled from birth, have had their vaccinations and are regularly wormed. They are both respectful and people friendly - leading, tying, loading onto a float and generally very well mannered.
